HOW TO FIND A SOFTWARE IDEA

If you want to create your own software, you need to come up with software ideas. In this process you need to research and brainstorm.

In my experience you can quickly generate product ideas by looking for:
 
1. Existing Software Products – You can modify and improve existing software products and create your own hybrid version.

2. People Demands on Forums – You can find software ideas just by searching on forums.

I came up with Instant Video Submitter software by just acting on a demand posted at the warrior forum.

Here’s how you can find product ideas at the Warrior Forum:

Step 1: Click on search link at the top.
 

Step 2: In the search box type the word “how” (without quotation).
 

The search results will came up with post from members of the forum asking help for a particular problem. You then need to screen out this post and find out if you can make a software solution to their problems.

You can use the warrior forum to generate ideas on what software or information product you might want to create.
