HOW TO FIND A PROGRAMMER

After you selected and decided on what software you want to create, the next task is to find a freelance programmer who will code your application.

You can find the best programmers at RentACoder.com. This is the place where programmers all over the world are eager to work on your projects.

You can hire a programmer for as low as $35 to $100.

In the case of Instant Video Submitter, it only cost me $100 to build that application.

Some Useful Tips:

  • Make sure that your project description can be easily understood by programmers. Instead of just posting the usual short description. You can create a word document containing all details of your project. If you want a specific Graphical User Interface (GUI), you can use Photoshop to create an image of what you want or you can draw it in a piece of paper and have it scanned so you can attach it for a clearer project description.
  • Before you select a programmer check out his feedback rating. If the programmer is new, you can request for his previous software projects so you can see the quality of his work. Do not underestimate international programmers sometimes they are far much talented than other USA based coders.
  • After you selected a programmer, make sure that you always communicate on a regular basis to monitor the progress of your project.
  • Do not release the funds to the programmer until you are fully satisfied with your application. Try to test the application thoroughly to make sure that your new software is free from bugs.

    Vincent,

Just stumbled across your site after seeing your testimonial on the “Cover Action Pro” site.

I hope you keep this thread going…

It’s very informative and is more worthy than some $67 reports I’ve paid for in the past. Just the way I love it, no fluff, just facts.

I especially love the idea of using the Warrior forum to generate ideas.

Keep it up the good work and have a good one mate!

    Stewart,

I’m glad that you find my posts informative.

This is based on my experience of creating a software product and selling the software business.

The report’s bottom line is you don’t need to invest huge amount of money to create your own software business. It’s just a matter of the right idea at the right time.

Sure I’ll continue posting all the remaining parts of the report.

    Cheers!

    Vince
