January Update

January 30th, 2008 by Vincent Abrugar

I’ve been a lazy blogger and this is the only post for January. I have a lot of things to talk about. First I gained 10 pounds after the holiday season, I ballooned to 230 pounds. I am 5 feet 11 inches so with that stat I am overweight. Since the start of the month I’ve been working out to lose weight and body fat. I’ve been playing basketball a lot and as of this post I already trim down to 225 pounds. My target weight is between 190-200 pounds. Im hoping I can reach my goal before August.

Back to Internet marketing, for those of you who read my blog and want to know what happened in December, well, I sold a few sites, and I got over $800 dollars online revenue that month.

There are also a lot of people that are still interested in a credit card affiliate website. So what I did was update the old credit card affiliate php script that I had and created a new sales website for the script.

At the end of December I was able to sell the script to 7 customers at the introductory price of $17 which totaled $119.

At the start of January I was able to borrow money around $600, I use my bike as collateral. I’ve used that loan to build Credit Card Publisher, the new version of the credit card affiliate script. I paid a freelance programmer and web designer to get the new version of the script and the sales page up and running. You can check out the site to learn more about the script.

As of this post, I already earned $631 from sales proceeds of the script, not a bad start considering that I’ve done little promotion.

    Hi Vincent,

I wish you not to sell your new website before you will make with it at least 10-20 times the amount you’ve invested.

Unfortunately the demo page doesn’t work (but install.php is accessible!!!), there is no photo on the sales page to make it more real and to build trust, there are no any testimonials, and I found no affiliate program, which would make other marketers interested in building your success.

I know you could easily improve your sales with some little improvements.

Unfortunately I couldn’t check out the demo of your product, the login for admin ‘demo’/'demo’ does not work.

I hope within a couple of days I’ll be able to revert with a much better review.

Thanks for the advice and thanks for pointing out the problem about the demo page. It is most probably that I am making some modifications on site that is why you were’nt able to know.

I am not selling the website anymore as I found a business partner who will take the software business to the next level.

The site will be re-launch in a couple of days. So watch for it!!
